Last summer I picked up the debut novel by A.J. Hartley, The Mask of Atreus, and was really impressed by the intelligent and surprising storyline, the interesting historical details and the believable characters.

This summer I was glad to see his second novel, On The Fifth Day, which proved to be equally entertaining/5(55). The Fifth Day is a quick read that does an excellent job of balancing a sweet love story between two best friends and a seriously sexy story when The Fifth day book best friends finally decide to risk it all and take it to the next level.
